STAGE 4 | PASSO VALPAROLA
An unusual starting point is Brunico. An hour bus/car ride to Brunico will take us to the starting point in a small town right next to the Dolomites. We will start to meet them after having pedalled through the valley of Badia for about 30km. A steady but certainly not difficult climb will be made easy by the company of another 599 fellow cyclists. In San Cassiano we start the timed climb to Passo Valparola, after which we descend to Cortina d’Ampezzo, the pearl of the Dolomites, then to the peak of Tre Croci (Three Crosses) for lunch and finally to Brunico. A memorable stage.
